Do I need to play to join?
No. You can come for the music, food, drinks and the vibe. Padel is one part of Tardeo am Platz. The rest happens around the courts. Just make sure to RSVP via Partiful to access to the event.
Do I need to register in advance?
Yes. Tournament spots are limited and must be booked in advance through Playtomic. For the social part, RSVP through Partiful if available.
How long do I actually play?
Each tournament block has a fixed match window. The full event may last longer, but your tournament time depends on your level and wave. Check your category schedule before booking.
What is the tournament format?
We play a King of the Court format. You start on a random court. Win and move up. Lose and move down. Court 1 is King of the Court. Court 5 is Try Harder Court. The exact format may adapt depending on registrations.
Do I play with a fixed partner?
It depends on the category. Some tournaments are played with fixed partners. Others are Americano style, with partner switching. The format will be shown clearly in each category before you register.
Do I need a partner to join the tournament?
No. You can register solo. If the format allows it, we will match you with another player. For fixed partner categories, solo players may be paired depending on availability.
How do you manage levels?
Each category has a level range. Please register in the category that matches your level. This keeps the games fair and more enjoyable for everyone. We may adjust players if the level does not match the category.
What happens if I arrive late?
Late arrivals make the tournament slower for everyone. Please arrive before check-in closes. If you arrive too late, we cannot guarantee your spot.
Will food be available at the event?
Yes. Food and bar service will be available during the event. Details may change depending on the edition, but the idea stays the same: play first, stay after.
Are drinks included in the ticket?
Only if clearly stated in the event description. If something is included, it will be written before you book. No small print. No surprises.
Are there prizes?
Yes, depending on the edition. Prizes, winner ceremony or special rewards will be announced on the event page if included.
Can I bring friends?
Yes. Friends are welcome, even if they do not play. They should RSVP through the social event link if available.
Will tickets be available at the door?
Only if the event is not sold out. Tournament spots are limited, so we recommend booking in advance.
